Today I decided to prune back my Forget-me-not fuchsias. Preparation for their long winters rest. I so hope I have not lost them, did notice leaves were starting to show signs of rust. They have been well pruned, and with such mild weather we are getting. You can see new growth starting to show.

Zulu King is the fuchsia seen growing on the left of the picture.
1st year training as a standard, she is a lovely single fuchsia.
And am sure if she overwinters well, it will prove to make a good standard.

Update of progress of the head of fuchsia named charming.
And charming she is surprised she is still in bloom and so healthy looking.
But soon weather shall change and I shall have to give a little protection.

About this time I would normally start to let my fuchsias rest and cut back or take tip cuttings. I think I shall wait untill the end of the month this year as they were late to bloom. Shall down size into smaller pot and fresh compost. Bury in trench in my greenhouse and cover with horticultural fleece, leave until Spring o7. My standard fuchsias I will keep indoors inheat and spray just to keep them ticking over.
