Text Google buys YouTube!

Created by Admin on 10/10/2006 (689 days ago)

Google is buying YouTube for $1.65 billon worth of Google stock after months of speculation over YouTube's future. See the Google press at: http://investor.google.com/releases/20061009.html Google plan to keep the YouTube brand in order to preserve the community. I think this is the best possible outcome for YouTube given that Google has the resources to keep YouTube going.
