15th Sept 06 Fuchsias still in bloom

About this time I would normally start to let my fuchsias rest and cut back or take tip cuttings. I think I shall wait untill the end of the month this year as they were late to bloom. Shall down size into smaller pot and fresh compost. Bury in trench in my greenhouse and cover with horticultural fleece,leave until Spring o7. My standard fuchsias I will keep indoors inheat and spray just to keep them ticking over.

Spent an enjoyable afternoon with friends strolling around all the wonderful fuchsias and other plants growing how nature wanted them to grow and be seen in their natural enviroment.
Well worth a visit.
